What You Will Be Doing
About The Role
Coach / Assistant Coach at One Cue Sport Centre works directly with players, helping them build proper form and understand the game from the ground up. This role covers everything from one-on-one lessons for beginners to organising training sessions and taking part in competitions that keep our community engaged.
Someone who genuinely enjoys the sport, communicates patiently, and likes seeing others improve will thrive here. A solid grasp of snooker fundamentals is expected, though we’re open to pairing newer coaches with more experienced ones as they grow into the role.

Skills and Qualities
This role values genuine passion for the game just as much as technical expertise. Bring your love for snooker, and we’ll help you develop the skills.
🎱 Game Knowledge
Understands the fundamentals of snooker well enough to teach and correct others.
🗣️ Patient Communication
Explains techniques clearly and adjusts teaching style to suit different learners.
📅 Planning Ability
Organises lessons, training schedules, and club activities without losing structure.
🏅 Competitive Spirit
Enjoys representing the centre at tournaments and promotional events.
✅ Prior coaching or competitive playing experience is preferred, though passionate players with strong fundamentals are also welcome to apply. We’ll help build up your coaching skills as you go.
