What You Will Be Doing

About The Role

While other roles maintain and manage our digital tools, this one builds them. You’ll develop and improve our internal systems, from the timer and membership tools to our POS platform, and build websites from the ground up, including WordPress sites configured to our exact needs.

This is a hands-on development role covering both front-end and back-end work. If you enjoy writing code that actually gets used by real staff and real customers, and want the freedom to explore new tech along the way, this is built for you.

Your Day-to-Day Tasks

Job Responsibilities

Here’s what building for One Cue typically looks like:

  • Develop and maintain our internal management systems: timer, membership, POS, and automation tools.

  • Handle full-stack web development, making sure everything works smoothly on both desktop and mobile.

  • Build and customize WordPress websites from scratch, including themes, plugins, and custom functionality.

  • Develop and optimize using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

  • Improve backend tools and data reports to boost efficiency and user experience.

  • Apply technical SEO practices to strengthen our site's visibility and performance.

  • Explore new technologies like AI, automation, and API integrations, and bring them into our systems.
